SMKA Arrive & Drive - Updated Prices
Interested
in karting but unsure if it's for you or your children? SMKA
Club Karts (Adult and Junior) are available for a limited trial at Open Track Days for prospective members. $25 gets
a minimum of 10 laps, $40 gets two 10 lap sessions. All required safety equipment is provided. Should you become
an SMKA member after your trial, your payment will be put towards the cost
of a membership. Arrive & Drive is only available during "Open Track Days".

Monthly SMKA Board Meeting
The SMKA
board of directors meet once every month to discuss club issues, schedules and planning. All SMKA members are encouraged to attend. Each meeting is
held at Giovanni's Pizza in Orcutt. Meeting starts at 7pm.
The next SMKA BOD meeting is
Wednesday June 12.

2013 SMKA Club Classes Updated
Please review the updated 2013 SMKA Club Classes. New tire specs have been added for all classes. As always, if you have a kart/engine you don't see
listed, come on out and play anyway, we'll find a run group to fit you in with.

2013 SMKA Club Race Rules
The following Club Race Rules have been established for the 2013
SMKA Club Race Season.
Club Race Day Tires Established
The open tire rule continues through the May '13 Club Race. The new tire spec will start
with the June '13 Club Race. Tires were selected based on affordability and durability while trying to keep performance
in mind. The tires have been tested by several in the club to assure performance vs. durability was acceptable.
The 2013 Tire Spec is as follows:
The Duro and Sakamoto tires can be found at K1 Race Gear.
Club Race Day Fuel
All racers shall use "Pump Gas" with no additives, except premix oil as required for 2-Cycle engines.
Club Race Track Configurations
During regristration at each Club Race, racers will vote on the track configuration to run for the following
month's race.

purchased are good through the end of 2013. Please visit the SMKA Membership Page for applications, rules, prices, etc. SMKA Members receive better rates at Open Track Days, Open Practice Days, Club
Race Days, etc.

SMKA Open Track Days
The next SMKA Open
Track Day is Sunday April 28.
Open Track Days are open to all karters (Members and Non-Members) and
spectators. Practice sessions are controlled between Junior and Senior drivers. Arrive & Drive is offered
at Open Track Days. Please nte Non-Driver Passes are only required for access to the Track, Scales, Tech and Grid Areas.
Non-Driver Passes are not required for Paddock Access.
