Club Race Rain Make-Ups
If a club race is rained out, that race will be moved to the
next weekend's Sunday. If the make-up race is rained out, then that month's race is lost for the season.
Items Not Allowed at the SMKA Track
Outside of special events, the Santa Maria Airport Commission will not allow overnight camping or RV parking
at the track.
No bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller blades, mini-bikes, golf karts, etc.
No pets.
Airboxes & Fuel Catch Cans
Airboxes are REQUIRED on
ALL karts at the Santa Maria Track. Fuel Catch Cans are REQUIRED
on ALL Shifter and 4-Stroke karts at the Santa
Maria Track.
Spec Fuel Policy
Racers of both 2-Cycle and 4-Stroke (World Formula and Animal Motors) must purchase Spec Fuel from the
track on race day. If a racer runs anything other than the Spec Fuel for that race day, that racer will be
disqualified. Pre-Mix Oil has NOT been added, all 2-Cycle Racers must add their own oil. Burris Castor (Red Label) is mandated for non-gearbox karts @ 8oz/gal, and Burris Blend (Black Label) is mandated for gearbox karts @ 5oz/gal.
Driver Requirements
IKF or WKA Approved:
Helmet
Neckbrace
Long Sleeve Jacket and Pants or Approved Driving Suit
Gloves and a High Cut Shoe/Boot
Chest Protector (For 12 and Under)
